A special team of District Police led by Simaria Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Ashok Priyadarshi, arrested a self-styled ‘commander’ of Tritiya Sammelan Prastuti Committee (TSPC), a splinter group of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), identified as Vishwanath Ganjhu, from Tilsaliya Forest area under Kunda Police Station limits in Chatra District of Jharkhand on June 16, reports The Week. Three Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), each weighing five kilograms, Maoist literatures and two Police uniforms were recovered during the operation, said Kunda Police Station Officer-In-Charge (OIC), Parmanand Mehra.
