On 28 May 2022, Turkish army forces conducted airstrikes against PKK militants in Sehid Sahin, Gire Cehennem, Sehid Harun and Sehid Tolhildan areas (Kurdish names) in the Zap region (Al Amadiya district) of Duhok, in conjunction with artillery shelling carried out by land forces. Turkish forces claimed 18 PKK militants were killed or injured in airstrikes carried out by Turkish army drones in the 'Claw-Lock' operation area, presumed to be the same (Zap) region. Fatalities coded to 0.
