In another incident, on June 11, one Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) militant was killed in an exchange of fire at Khandipora area in Kulgam District, reports Daily Excelsior. During a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO), the HM militant identified as Rasiq Ahmed Ganie, who was involved in several attacks on Police, Security Forces (SFs) and civilians was killed in retaliatory fire. Incriminating materials, arms and ammunition, including .303 rifle along with 23 rounds, pistol along with 31 rounds, and one hand grenade were recovered.
