A self-styled commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) was killed while three soldiers and a civilian were injured in an overnight encounter in the Rishipora area of Anantnag District in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on June 3, reports Daily Excelsior. Terrorist commander was identified as Nisar Khanday. Incriminating materials, arms and ammunition including one AK 47 rifle recovered. The civilian was identified as Mukhtar Ahmad Malik, son of Ghulam Mohidin.
