On 13 May 2022, in Ywar Shey (aka) Pi Tauk Kan village (coded as Ywar Shey) (Myaing township, Pakokku district, Magway region), artillery shells fired by military forces from Than Bo village hit a house and killed three family members who were resting after meals. Due to the artillery shells, around 45 homes caught fire and were destroyed. It was reported that the military fired artillery shells at the village assuming that PDFs were harboring in the village.
