On 9 May 2022, Taliban forces carried out airstrikes in some parts of Warsaj district, Takhar. 4 NRF members were killed. Some sources claimed that a number of residents left their houses as the results of airstrikes without mentioning casualties. Another source claimed that 30 civilians were killed in this airstrikes.
