In a tweet, the city of Marseille announced the closure of this beach, the closest to the city centre, from 7am.The maritime prefecture of the Mediterranean will indeed proceed "to the displacement and then the explosion of an explosive device dating from the Second World War. The beach will remain inaccessible until the end of the operations.
