On 24 November 2019, a civilian was killed, three others were wounded, while a police officer - the presumed actual target - escaped unscathed as a Grenade planted by unidentified assailants under the police officer's motorcycle fell off the motorcycle and detonated in Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City. The police see drug suspects as the likely perpetrators, given the target's work in anti-illegal drugs operations.
