On 24 November 2019, a hand Grenade hurled during the passage of a UN vehicle and killed 1 UN aid worker who is also a US citizen, and injured another international staff and the driver in Kabul city, in the area of 4th Macrorayan Main Road between Airport Road and Jalalabad Road. Three nearby civilians were wounded in the attack. No group has claimed responsibility.
