On 18 May 2022, between Pyin Htaung and Kin Pyit villages (coded as Pyin Htaung) (Khin-U township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the combined force of Yaung Ni Pyakkyar Tatphwe: Red Glow of Dawn Guerrilla Force and unreported local defense forces carried out mine attacks against five Pyu Saw Htee members their way to patrol the area. One member of the Pyu Saw Htee was injured.
