On 18 May 2022, in Tibu (Norte de Santander), suspected members of the 33rd FARC dissident faction attacked with grenades the police station. Perpetrators threatened civilians who live near the building to access their residences and used the backyards to throw the devices. Three officers were injured. There were no fatalities.
