On 19 May 2022, in Tanintharyi township (Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), the military launched artilleries indiscriminately. Over 2,000 villagers from Inn Shey Kone, Pyay Aye, La Mine Kawt, Thar Ya, Tan Taik, and Ywar Ma villages from the Ta Ku village tract fled away.
