On 19 May 2022, in Ywar Pale village (Myaung township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), 200 Myanmar military soldiers raided the village by launching artilleries to the village at around 8 am. At the same time, the military set fire to a total of 64 houses in three villages (Ywar Pale, Pauk Chaung, and Ku Toet Kone). Casualties unknown.
