On October 21, a roadside IED planted by PKK militants detonated during the passage of a Turkish army armored vehicle in Sesveren village of Kagizman, Kars. 5 Soldiers and 3 village guards were injured reportedly. HPG claimed that 15 soldiers were killed in the attack, but this was not confirmed.
