On 20 May 2022, in Khin-U township (Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military raided the Inn Taing Lay (South) village by launching heavy weapons, killing 3 civilians (1 woman and 2 men) and injuring other civilians, who were later arrested, at around 4 pm. At the same time, the military set fire to some houses in the village. Villagers flee away from the village due to the attack.
