Two Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorists were killed in an encounter with Security Forces (SFs) in Kreeri Dooru area of Anantnag District in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on May 10, reports Daily Excelsior. SFs launched a search operation to track the terrorists. As the searches were under taken hiding terrorist opened fire on joint parties, triggering an encounter. In ensuing encounter two terrorist were killed and their identity is being ascertained even as operation is underway. Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar said that two terrorist killed in ongoing encounter in Anantnag were a potential threat to forthcoming Amarnath Yatra.
