On 2 May 2022, between Koe Te and Nyaung Pin Su villages, Tigyaing township (Katha district, Sagaing region), the Special 9-HPDF, Fox Army - HPDF, Koe Taung Tiger and Water Snake Group carried out an attack using six mines against the military troops. About twenty military troops died and twenty more were injured, according to locals.
