On 22 April 2022, in Kyauk Sit Pon village (coded as Kyauk Sit Pon (North)) (Monywa township, Monya district, Sagaing region), the FFP (unit 4 of Monywa District Battalion 2 - Chindwin Attack Force) and the Yan Gyi Aung (YGA) LPDF jointly attacked a military vehicle carrying military soldiers with mines at the top of the village at 7:20 am. At least ten military soldiers were killed. Two people approaching from behind the military vehicle were injured.
