On 16 April 2022, Houthi forces blew up the house of a civilian in Al Ashah district (Amran) after he refused to answer a summon to the district's police station. There were no fatalities or injuries. The summon was related to a several-year-old conflict between two families in the district including one with close ties to Houthi forces.
