Suspected militants triggered a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast which damaged two JCB machines, a truck engaged in highway improvement works and a car at Waithou Bazar under Lilong Police Station in Thoubal District, reports Nagaland Post on April 25. However, there was no casualty reported in the incident. The blast took place hours after Chief Minister N Biren Singh inspected the ongoing highway expansion and improvement works.
