Of the total of 4 ordnance, three are currently harmless and will be removed by the Rhineland-Palatinate ordnance disposal service this afternoon. There are two German incendiary bombs and a British aerial bomb. The fourth bomb is a 500kg American aerial bomb that is due to be defused on Friday, November 12th. So that the evacuation radius can be kept as small as possible, the bomb is shielded with so-called big packs full of sand. These big packs will be set up by the technical relief organization tomorrow, Thursday, and positioned around the site. In total, the evacuation radius is still 500m, the evacuation of which is controlled, as always, by the police and the public order office. The commercial operations that will be visited and informed by employees of the public order office on Thursday, as well as the few residents and the owners of the allotment gardens concerned are requested to leave the area by 1:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon at the latest.
