Security Forces (SFs) on November 16 arrested two Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) associates and recovered a hand grenade and "incriminating material" in Sopore area of Baramulla District in Jammu and Kashmir on November 16, reports Greater Kashmir. A Police handout saying the duo-Asif Rasheed War son of Abdul Rasheed War and Altaf Hussain Najar son Abdul Ahad Najar both residents of Natnoosa Kupwara - were held at a checkpoint by SFs at Shalimar Colony crossing. “Upon search, a hand grenade and incriminating material was recovered from their possession”, the Police handout said. As per Police, "upon preliminary enquiry, they disclosed their allegiance to LeT and intended to lob the acquired grenade at an undisclosed location in Kupwara with an intention to cause casualties".
