A Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadre was injured in an encounter that broke out between Maoists and Police near Makhmandro Bazar under Ratu Police Station limits in Ranchi District of Jharkhand on November 20, reports bhaskar.com. The injured Maoist, whose identity is yet to be established, has been admitted to the Madi Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. According to Police, Latehar Police was chasing Maoists from Latehar, from where the injured Maoist was running towards Ranchi via Ratu. Then he was injured in retaliatory firing by the Police near Ratu. The bike of Maoist has also been recovered.
