Two unidentified militants and house owner were killed in an encounter with Security Forces (SFs) on November 15 in Hyderpora area of Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. Around 4:00 pm, a joint operation was launched by Police, Army and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Hyderpora area on the basis of specific intelligence inputs that two militants were hiding in a commercial building near Jamkash Vehicleades. When the search team started advancing towards the suspected militant hideout, the militants opened fire in a bid to escape. The SFs retaliated and killed two militants. The house owner who was injured in militant fire, succumbed to his injuries.
