On January 1, Taliban members killed a former Police official, Shafiqullah Mohammadi, and injured his sister at their house in Pul-e-Khumri city, the provincial capital of Baghlan, reports Aamaj News 24 on January 5. “At mid night Taliban came into our house and requested guns, after that brutally killed my brother. When my sister wanted to avoid this issue, they wounded her. She went into a coma, and now she is hospitalized,” Seddiqullah Mohammadi brother of Shafiqullah Mohammadi claimed.
