On 2 January 2022, near Let Pan village of Budalin township (coded as Let Pan (East)) (Monywa district, Sagaing region), joint forces of seven groups attacked about 100 military troops with mines. The DVB reported that about 20 military soldiers were killed while Shwe Phee Myay News Agency reported that 11 military soldiers were killed. Fatalities coded as 11. The seven groups included People's Guerrillas Commando-Myinmu, Hlaw Tet In Ahr Su 126: Rowing Force 126, Budalin Ninja, Budalin Lightning, Budalin Rocket, Budalin Gecko, and Budalin Wind Wave.
