On 3 January 2022, in Tada-U township (Kyaukse district, Mandalay region), the combined forces of the YFPDF, Myaung People's Defense Force TGR, the Ngazun PDF and Taw Win Day Wi: Royal Day Wi attacked two military vehicles carrying about 80 military troops with three mines. At least 15 military soldiers were killed and five others were injured.
