On 5 January 2022, in Seik Khun village of Shwebo township (Shwebo district, Sagaing region), a military convoy coming to collect electricity bills was attacked with remote-controlled explosives. The Shwebo PDF and other unreported local defense forces jointly did the attack. Casualties unknown.
