On 11 December 2021, in Hlaingtharya township, Hlaingtharya-East (Yangon-North, Yangon region) People's Defense Force under the command of National Unity Government (NUG) carried out six grenades attacks at office of the military's Tactical Operation Command in Hlaingtharya in Anawrahta Industrial Zone at around 7 pm. Casualties unknown.
