On 12 December 2021, between Yar Gyi and Lar Poet villages (coded as Yar Gyi) (Kani township, Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), the B21 Kani-PDF attacked a military convoy with mines. At least 20 were killed or wounded from the military side. Fatalities coded as 10.
