On 12 December 2021, in Kani township (Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region) coalition forces, including PDF-Mingin, PDF-Taungdwingyi, and PDF-Kani carried out 12 mine attacks against military forces between Kani and Mingin townships. The attacks killed 15 military forces, including a military captain.
