On May 21, IS militants detonated IEDs on groups of soldiers near Abou Ziraa and Falougah ambush, south and west of Rafah, and on the international road to Rafah close to Sadout. IS IED attacks on 21 May reportedly killed 6 people and injured 20 in Al Arish and Rafah, and were split across three events.
