On 14 December 2021, in Myaung township (Sagaing district, Sagaing region), a convoy of three military trucks was attacked on the Sagaing-Monywa Road in the morning. The People's Army to Fight Dictatorship (PAFD) reported that they attacked the convoy with eight mines and at least 20 soldiers died.
