On 14 December 2021, a bomb went off on a road in Tue Ra village, tambon Sa Ko, Su-Ngai Padi district (Narathiwat) targeting rangers on a convoy of three six-wheel trucks and three pickups. A pick-up was damaged. There were no casualties. The bomb was suspected to be planted by Malay Muslim separatists.
