On 15 December 2021, in Tin Tein Yan (Ywar Ma) village, Ye-U township (Shwebo district, Sagaing region) the Myanmar military forces fired heavy artillery at Tin Thein Yan village at around 6:30 pm and local villagers fled homes. Casualties unknown.
