On 16 December 2021, in Tigyaing town (Katha district, Sagaing region), combined local people's defense forces carried out mine attack against military forces patrolling with a vehicle and three motorbikes in front of Municipal office at around 11:10 am. Two military forces and other two police forces were killed and a vehicle was damaged.
