On 17 December 2021, between Sa Mar and Tan Soe villages (Kyaukse township, Kyaukse district, Mandalay region), the KDDF and the Kyaukse PDF attacked a military car coming to inspect from Tan Soe gate after the bombing on the Mytel telecom tower on the same day. Two military soldiers were killed and four others were injured.
