In a statement released on Saturday 1 January 2022, the UN mission in Central African Republic - MINUSCA said three peacekeepers were injured, two of them seriously, in an explosion that occurred on Friday in the northwest of the country. It happened while they were driving through Bohong, a locality located between Bocaranga and Bouar.
