Unknown event in Manipur, Khabam Lamkhai near Imphal of Imphal East District area, India on Sat 25th December 2021

On December 25, a militant belonging to United National Liberation Front (UNLF) was arrested from Khabam Lamkhai near Imphal of Imphal East District in Manipur, reports The Hindu. The militant identified as Mayengbam Amarjit was apprehended during frisking and search operation. Foreign-made weapons including one 9 mm pistol (Glock) with one magazine, one 9 mm pistol (Sig Sauer) with magazine, one .22 pistol with magazine, one 9 mm pistol with magazine, 43 assorted rounds of live ammunition, one scooter and a mobile handset were recovered from the house of the militant.
