In a joint operation, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Chhattisgarh Police recovered five kilograms Improvised Explosive Device (IED), suspected to have been planted by the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) to target the Security Forces (SFs), from deep forested Naga Tekri area in Jagargunda in Sukma District of Chhattisgarh on December 30, reports dynamitenews.com. The joint forces conducted searches based on specific inputs and the IED was destroyed a few minutes after its recovery by Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), the CRPF said.
