Police recovered 25 series can bombs suspected to have been planted by the Naxalites [Left Wing extremists, LWEs] to target the Security Forces (SFs) in the forest area adjacent to Barwaiya under Manika Police Station limits in Latehar District of Jharkhand on December 24, reports hindi.news18.com. Acting on the secret information received by Latehar Superintendent of Police (SP), Anjani Anjan, the Police team recovered these bombs, then defused them. Manika Police Station in-charge said that the squad of Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad (JJMP)'s ‘sub-zonal commander’ Manohar, Ganesh and Azad is constantly moving in this area, about which the Police got information. Formed a Police team and conducted a search operation with central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and recovered the bombs.JJMP is a splinter group of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist).
