On December 21, at least three kidnappers and one Taliban soldier were killed, during an operation, by Taliban led Afghan Security Forces in the Qasba area of Jalalabad under Police District (PD) 1, the provincial capital of Nangarhar, tweeted Nangarhar Media Centre. Explosives were also recovered by the Taliban Forces during the operation. An abducted goldsmith was rescued during the operation.
