In two separate counter-insurgency operations, arms and ammunitions were recovered on December 20 from West Garo Hills District of Meghalaya, reports Northeast Now. During an operation at Du’magitok village of West Garo Hills district, one live grenade and 6 nos. live 7.62mm ammunition was recovered. While, in another counter-operation carried out in Rechangre village of the same district, two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) assembled in a pressure cooker and a tin paint box respectively were recovered. All the recovered explosives were destroyed in-situ.
