On December 16, one person was arrested along with two kilograms of explosives, one remote control and batteries for making IEDs from Ukhrul District in Manipur, reports Imphal Free Press. The arrestee was planning to plant the IEDs in Ukhrul to target the civilians.|An over ground worker (OGW) of United National Liberation Front (UNLF) was arrested on the same day from Ukhrul District.|Earlier, on December 15, a People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak-progressive (PREPAK-pro) militant was arrested from Imphal West District.|In another operation, two militants belonging to Kangleipak Communist Party-Noyon (KCP-N) were arrested on December 14 from Bishnupur market in Bishnupur District. One hand grenade was also recovered from one of the militants.
