Two militants were killed during an encounter with Security Forces (SFs) in Redwani Bala area of Kulgam District in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) the early hours of December 16 (Today), reports Daily Excelsior. An unnamed senior Police officer said that the slain militants were affiliated with The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT). The encounter broke out in the night of December 15 after SFs launched a cordon and search operation in the area following a tip off about the presence of militants there.
