SAA event in Jharkhand, Patki Forest area, India on Wed 15th December 2021

The raiding team arrested two uniformed cadres, including a woman, on a motorcycle from near Patki Forest, with loaded pistols, live bullets, Naxalite cards, mobile phones. They were identified as Saurabh and Zarina Khatoon alias Haseena Khatoon alias Haseena. Five other cadres of the organization Upendra Ram alias Om Prakash, Vikas Kumar alias Monu Kumar, Pradeep Pal, Amit Kumar and Sameer Lakra were also arrested with loaded pistol and live bullets from Kope village under Manika Police Station limits. Saurav used to work in Maoist’s splinter organization JJMP in the past. He has been to jail before, and after coming out of jail, he started organizing the organization by intimidating him and getting involved in the work of collecting the ‘levy’ (extortion money).
