On 6 December 2021, a ranger was slightly injured in an explosion on a road near Kubae Bado village, Tambon Marue Bo Tok (Ra-Ngae, Narathiwat), targeting a pick-up carrying six forest rangers. The bomb was suspected to be planted by two Malay Muslim separatists.
