On May 4, four soldiers were killed in Diztepe Military Zone of Derecik, Hakkari, near Turkey-Iraq border, as a result of the shelling conducted by PKK/YPG militants from the Iraqi side of the border. 3 soldiers died immediately, while a fourth succumbed from his wounds in hospital on June 8th.
