On 7 December 2021, an IED planted by an unidentified party targeted a police car (coded as Security Belt forces by default) in Qatabah city (Qaatabah, Ad Dali) injuring the deputy director of Qaatabah Security and killing 1 civilian. The explosion also damaged other vehicles nearby.
