Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested five cadres of banned extremist organisation Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from village Majhpara in Nilphamari District on December 4, reports New Age. The arrested are JMB’s Rangpur ‘regional military wing chief’ Ahidul Islam Palash (26), Wahed Ali alias Abdur Rahman (30), Abdullah Al Mamun alias Dr. Shuja (26), Zahidul Islam alias Zobayer (27) and Nur Amin Sabuz (26). RAB personnel recovered an improvised explosive device, huge raw materials and chemicals for making bombs, a pistol with five cartridges and some other goods from them.
